It's happened again, a company that calls themselves Domain Names NZ http://www.domainnamesnz.com is trying to scam money out of innocent NZ companies.
I have just received another letter from them to register a domain name that I already own!! Not only that, but the letter they send out, appears like an invoice that needs to be paid, rather than a solicitation to sell you something, and is priced way too high. They are totally despicable!

If you have recieved a letter from Domain Names NZ, pass it thru the shreeder, and then send it back to them!

I've received a couple of these scam letters over the past couple years. They want you to buy all kinds of garbage, THAT THEY GET FREE. For example, they also try to sell you an OSHA poster for your employees, saying that "its the law, you're required to post one".
Duhh! The poster are FREE from OSHA simply by requesting one.
They are scam artists.
